Terms of service

Last updated: 4 August 2026

1. What this site is

Apex Handyman at https://apexhandymannc.com is a directory and lead referral service. It does not perform construction, repair or maintenance work of any kind, it does not employ tradespeople, and it does not hold a contractor's license. All work is carried out by independent contractors who are separate businesses.

The website shares information with local, licensed and insured vendors who will reach out and contact you the consumer with the information provided here.

2. No contractor-client relationship with this site

Submitting a request through this site, or calling a number shown on it, does not create a contract for work with Apex Handyman. Any agreement for work — its scope, its price, its schedule, its warranty — is made directly between you and the contractor who contacts you. Payment is made to that contractor.

3. Contractor conduct and quality of work

Contractors receiving referrals are independent. Apex Handyman does not supervise or control how they carry out work, does not guarantee the quality, timeliness or price of that work, and is not a party to your agreement with them. Where a job requires a licensed trade, referrals are directed to a contractor holding the applicable license, but you remain free — and are encouraged — to verify a license with the relevant North Carolina board and to confirm insurance before work begins.

4. Information on this site

Content here describes common repair situations in this region and is general information, not professional advice about your specific property. Building codes, permit requirements and licensing thresholds change, and what applies to your address may differ from what is described. Do not rely on this site in place of an inspection or an opinion from a licensed professional.

5. Using the site

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading or third-party contact information
  • Use the form to send advertising, solicitations or automated submissions
  • Attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems
  • Scrape or copy the site's content for republication

6. Consent to be contacted

By submitting the form or calling, you agree to be contacted about your request by phone, text message or email — by this site and by the contractor your request is referred to. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw that consent at any time by telling the party contacting you to stop.

7. Intellectual property

The text, layout and graphics on this site belong to its operator. You may read, print and share pages for your own use. Republishing the content elsewhere is not permitted without written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apex Handyman is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this site or from work performed by a contractor you were referred to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing here is intended to restrict any right you have under the North Carolina Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act or other consumer protection law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes

These terms may be updated, and the date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

11. Contact
